PLC timer low instruction in LDMicro

Timer low Tlo instruction is normally output high. Whenever its input become low, this instruction creates a low logic delay time for a specified in its property, then it goes back to high.

The low input duration must be longer than the PLC cycle time.

A typical example shows how to use this type of timer. In this introductory example, I use an negated input contact to activate the Tlo instruction. This activation turn on an output coil for 10 seconds.

In this example, the MCU in-use is not specified. The PLC cycle time is 10 mS. Click here to download this ladder diagram example.
